ecommendations on what I should do to help heal or should i just leave it alone?... my 2.5 yr old fell this past Wednesday and her top teeth went through her bottom lip. She was put under anesthesia (with gas) and 5 stitches on inside and 3 on outside of lip same day. Next day she pulled stitches out but her wound stayed closed for the most part. Now she has some pretty big looking sores on the inside and has had them for 2 days. They bleed along the edges a bit I think bc she still keep sucking on her lip. I have only been applying coconut oil and she is on antibiotic to "prevent staph infection". by Paula Roncancio Hartgrave
